As part of the program, our players go beyond the court by:
Reading life-changing books such as Rich Dad Poor Dad, How to Win Friends and Influence People, How Successful People Lead, and Atomic Habits.
Attending workshops that focus on leadership, financial literacy, and mental health.
Learning real-world skills that prepare them for success in college, careers, and life.
Coach David’s Story
Basketball has been a lifelong passion for Coach David. He first picked up the game in middle school and quickly showed promise, competing at a high level throughout his teens. But despite his talent, a setback nearly ended his dream — his grades weren’t strong enough to pursue a professional career early on.
Instead of letting that close the door on his future, David used it as fuel. He committed himself to becoming not just a skilled player, but a mentor who could prepare others for success both on the court and in the classroom. Over the past 20+ years, he has immersed himself in the game, with the last 6+ years dedicated to coaching girls and young women to reach their full potential.
Why We Do It
Too many talented athletes miss out on opportunities because they weren’t prepared academically or personally. Lady Success Elite exists to change that.
