Beyond the Court

As part of the program, our players go beyond the court by:

Reading life-changing books such as Rich Dad Poor Dad, How to Win Friends and Influence People, How Successful People Lead, and Atomic Habits.
Attending workshops that focus on leadership, financial literacy, and mental health.
Learning real-world skills that prepare them for success in college, careers, and life.

Coach David’s Story

Basketball has been a lifelong passion for Coach David. He first picked up the game in middle school and quickly showed promise, competing at a high level throughout his teens. But like many young men searching for direction, his journey wasn’t without adversity.

Along the way, Coach David faced real-life challenges and had encounters with the law. Those moments tested him but they did not define him.

In recent years, he made a clear decision to grow, to change, and to build something greater than himself.

That decision is what shaped the man he is today.

Coach David is more than just a coach he is a mentor, a leader, and a role model. With years of experience coaching girls and young women, his mission goes far beyond basketball. He pours into his players both on and off the court instilling discipline, confidence, leadership, and real-life awareness.

Everything he teaches comes from lessons he’s lived. His story isn’t about where he started. It’s about what he chose to become.
